The Conservatory

The ConservatoryConservatories were traditionally Edwardian additions to Victorian homes. The Conservatory at Erindale is the perfect addition to this grand Victorian era home. With the light streaming in all year round and with its great outlook over the landscaped gardens, the Conservatory is a favourite with us and guests alike. Whether it’s having a chat or reading the daily paper, watching the native bird life or even perhaps a little nap is known to happen.

The Servery

At the end of the hallway there is a servery equipped with a selection of Twinning Teas, a variety of coffees, hot chocolate
and a refrigerator, milk, cold glasses, all for your use.

Breakfast

Be it at the dining table with other guests, or in the warmer months, alfresco, on your private veranda, breakfast at Erindale is a relaxed affair.

Glenda and Charles’s love and passion for both eating and cooking good food, ensures a memorable breakfast. With a delectable choice of Fresh local produce including a different fruit starter each morning, fruit juice from the local orchard, home baked cereals, home-made muffins, sourdough rye with jam and marmalade or our local Beechworth Honey followed by a fully cooked breakfast means that a good walk may be in order before lunch is even attempted.

And if you can’t fit that muffin in you can always take it with you while you are out and about exploring what Beechworth has to offer.

The Gardens

Erindale is surrounded by expansive landscaped English style gardens on over half an acre block and make the perfect place for a relaxing break. The gardens were designed and developed by Ms. Jane, when they did the renovations. The gardens have evolved over time creating “garden rooms”, perfect for exploring and taking time out.

As you wander along the paths each corner reveals a whole new experience, complete with nooks and secluded areas where you can sit and enjoy the tranquillity and watch a bird or two or listen to the sound of the running water of the Georgian pond.

The gardens are now a labour of love for Charles as he awaits what each new season will bring. Spring with the weeping cherries in full blossom and all the bulbs popping up everywhere. There’s nothing like Beechworth in the Autumn. The trees are so vibrant and an array of colours.

Off street parking is available to guests and for those with bicycles we offer secure undercover bike storage.

The garden is also available for intimate weddings and functions. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Erindale is the perfect place to stay no matter what the season.
